Hesketh Henry represented at Trade Mission to Fiji

Ben Hickson, partner in Hesketh Henry’s corporate and commercial team (and executive committee member of the New Zealand Fiji Business Council), joined a delegation of around 50 New Zealand businesses on a trade mission to Fiji last week.  Some 300 delegates attended the Fiji New Zealand and New Zealand-Fiji Business Councils’ 2024 Joint Conference at the Sofitel Hotel in Denarau on Friday 7 June.

Fiji Prime Minister Hon Sitiveni Rabuka and New Zealand Prime Minister Rt Hon Christopher Luxon officiated the convention that also marked the culmination of the NZ Business mission to Fiji.  Trade relationships were the key focus of the leaders’ discussions and Prime Minister Luxon announced a $2 billion target for trade between New Zealand and Fiji, to be achieved by 2030.
